Was your New Year's goal to write or finish that novel you've had hidden away? Even by February, the dust of many resolutions have settled, and starting (or finishing) a novel is sometimes still the most insurmountable task on the goal list. In this class, a seasoned award-winning novelist will help you outline a simple, effective schedule to finish your work-in-progress within the year. This class will cover what drives us, how to maintain our creativity and passion for our work, how to fit our writing into even the tightest of schedules, and the basic structure of what we're trying to create. You'll be given sample schedules that can then be adapted to fit your life and your needs. Students will be encouraged to sign up for the monthly accountability meetings (whether or not they are members of Writing Heights) to check in with their progress throughout the year.
